Welcome!

 Hi! My name is Heather Palmertree, and I am beyond thrilled to be at Hernando Hills Elementary. I am looking forward to coming alongside each student and teaching them how to have fun while learning. It's going to be a fantastic year full of new adventures. I can't wait to see all the new memories we will make and the smiles and laughs that will carry us throughout each day of learning!

About Me:

This is my 7th year teaching, and I absolutely love watching students grow and become confident in their knowledge. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education in 2009 from Delta State University and went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from DSU in 2010.

My family and I have lived in Desoto County for 11 years. I have been married for 13 wonderful years to my husband, Kevin, and we have 3 amazing children. Aubrey is 10 years old and attends Oak Grove Elementary, Brayden is 8 years old and attends Hernando Hills, and Cayden is 7 years old and also attends Hernando Hills. We are all very proud to be called Hernando Tigers!
