About Me:
I serve as the coordinator for both intervention and state testing at HHES. As the intervention coordinator, I work with a team of teachers and administrators to identify students in need of academic and/or behavioral supports and their specific skill deficits. Together we design a plan based on each individual student's needs to help fill in foundational gaps in learning. As the testing coordinator, I manage our district level assessments (iReady and enCase) and our state testing in the spring semester (ELPT, MAAP, and MAAP-A).
I received a B.S.Ed. in secondary education from Blue Mountain College and later went on to earn my MSE in educational leadership from Arkansas State University. This is my fourteenth year in education and my sixth year working as the intervention/testing coordinator at HHES. Before becoming a tiger, I taught high school English and traveled the district as an intervention specialist. I love working with the students, staff, and families at HHES!
