- Ms. White

Education: I graduated from Hernando High School and went on to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Mississippi.

Experience: This will be my fifth year of teaching overall. This will be my fourth year of teaching 2nd grade at Hernando Hills. My first year I taught 1st grade at Hernando Elementary School. I am very excited to see what this year of 2nd grade has in store!

Bio: My name is Candace White.  I am beginning my 5th year of overall teaching and it is my 4th year of teaching 2nd grade specifically.  I live in Olive Branch with my fiance and two children.  My daughter is 7 and my son will turn 5 just before Christmas. I was born and raised in this area and I am so proud to be raising my children here in Desoto County.  My family is also from here and many of them have been involved in Desoto County Schools.  I am the fourth generation of educators in my family.  I have known since I began Kindergarten that I wanted to be a teacher one day.  I am so excited for this school year and cannot wait to learn about you and your child so we can help them grow together.
