WELCOME TO SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY

BUILDING BETTER SPEECH AND LANGUAGE!

Education: Bachelors Degree:  Memphis State University, 1983

Masters Degree:  Arkansas State University, 1991

Experience: This is my 29th year as a speech-language pathologist. I have worked in Early Intervention in homes, Developmentally Delayed Preschool, Hearing Impaired, School Based Speech Therapy Home Health and Nursing Homes. I have enjoyed each placement as a therapist, but my love is children.

Bio: I graduated from Memphis State University with a BS in Education and I graduated from Arkansas State University with a MS in Communicative Disorders.

I am married to a great guy named Rick,  and we have four children, each of them has been a guinea pig for different activities and therapy ideas. They will tell you, it has been very interesting growing up with a speech therapist as a mom and sometimes frustrating when they didn't use their words correctly. My children have been an inspiration to me, as well as great practice, since two of them required P.E. tubes for recurring ear infections, and they had many distorted and omitted sounds.

We have added on to our family over time....I now have two daughter's-in-law and a son-in-law and a granddaughter and grandson.   It is amazing how things change at our house almost daily.

Our speech class schedule will be determined by classes and IEP's.

Our speech class schedule is determined by the IEP and non-instructional time in the classroom.
